How and When we collect your data
Directly
When you are enquiring about or booking a tattoo online, in person, or via message, we will collect enough details in order to verify your age and identity where necessary.
When you contact us online about queries or complaints, or when you contact the studio through emails, text, Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest messages.
When you use or view our website, as data will then be collected via your browsers cookies (if accepted).
When submitting any forms on our website.
Indirectly
When you have provided a third party the authority to pass your data that they hold on you onto us.
Any publicly available and displayed data or comments in relation to the studio. So, for instance, if you comment on social pages about our studio, then this data is freely available and can be passed to us.
What data do we collect?
If you are booking a tattoo, we collect basic personal data to ensure that you are who you say you are, and in order to get the correct data about your tattoo, ideas, body and summary medical history.
- Full Name
- Address
- Phone number
- Copy of ID (driving licence, usually)
- Photos of body parts wanting to be tattooed
- Emails, text, Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram messages
- Medical notes (Such as medical history and current medications/conditions)
We may ask for a legal identification to verify your age and/or identity. This is usually in the form of a drivers licence or passport. We may hold a copy of this data unless you ask us to remove it from our system.
How will we use your data?
The only time Bobinski Tattoo uses your personal data is in relation to your appointment or tattoo. In order to discuss, confirm and prepare for your appointment, our artists will view and discuss your tattoo ideas and details in order to achieve the best end result for you.
How do we store your data?
Your data is securely stored within Google and DropBox clouds.
Who do we share your data with?
Under criminal or suspicious circumstances, only particular organisations/institutes will be granted access to your data.
For instance for fraud prevention and protection.
We may share information about any illegal / fraudulent / suspicious activities on our premises or towards one of our artists. This will include sharing data to law enforcement agencies if and where required.
On case specific circumstances, and provided the correct evidence, we will comply with law enforcement agencies or regulatory / Government bodies requests for your data.
During the coronavirus pandemic, we have been asked by the government to provide details of your visit, such as time of arrival and departure. Some personal data, as that mentioned above, will be provided to NHS Test and Trace if requested. More information regarding this program can be found –

Marketing / Social
We will use your completed tattoo images and social media handles if given permission, in order to promote our artists online.
The following social sites are places that such information will be posted:
- Youtube
If you enter any of our online competitions, your name and social accounts may be used and displayed by us online.
You may also appear in the background of any photos or videos recorded whilst you were in the studio. If you wish to be removed from any of our online content, please contact us.
